MARIA FERNANDA CARDOSO will be part of a new exhibition, South: Contemporary Art from Australia, Mexico & South Africa, curated by David Corbet and showing at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre from 8 August to 6 October 2014.
The exhibition will include paintings, works on paper, installation, video and photomedia by thirteen contemporary artists from three countries across three southern regions: Oceania, Africa and Latin America.
For this exhibition, MARIA FERNANDA CARDOSO continues to explore creating work using materials from the natural world including emu parts - an animal which has come to form a potent symbol of Australia's national identity.
